Painting Classes at Urban Nature Studios at 88 Hatch Street Studios
NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2017: With a grant from the New Bedford Cultural Council I am offering FREE one-day classes at my Urban
Nature Studio at Hatch Street Studios in New Bedford, MA!
You will paint a FINISHED work of art in three hours! In my over 20-years of teaching at the university level I have come up with fun and easy-to-learn techniques that enable
even first time artists to paint fast and to paint well!
Create a finished 16" x 20" acrylic painting on canvas in ONE CLASS that you can share with family and friends or give as a gift for the
holidays!
ALL ages welcome! 16 years old and younger should be accompanied by a parent. Parents are welcome to bring small children that
want to participate in the painting session.

Hatch Street
Studios
88 Hatch Studios, part of the historic Nashawena Mill Complex, in New Bedford, MA was a textile and wire twining mill in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is now partially an artist's
studio complex with 30 artists working on the top three floors of the four story building. New studios are currently being constructed on the second floor!
Hatch Street Studio artists host a holiday sale and open studio event every year, starting the day after Thanksgiving. For more information, follow the link to hatchstreetstudios.com.
Hatch Street Studios are also open to the public during the Annual New Bedford Open Studios event every October.
