Rustic Clay mirrors and installations are dimensional mosaics. All of the hundreds of ceramic leaves, twigs, shells, snakes, vines and natural detritus are created by hand by Lori Bradley. She then collages the pieces onto a variety of wooden surfaces. They are firmly and permanently adhered with an industrial epoxy. The finished "collage" is relatively light in weight since no grout is used in this process.

Each mirror is unique and one-of-a-kind. There are several styles of Rustic Clay mirrors, vases, and collages that you'll see on this site - forest floor, autumnal, white shells, etc. Custom orders are accepted. If you see a style that interests you and the item is sold, please inquire about a custom order. You can order a similar item. It will vary from the original a bit, since each item is unique, but will be similar in color, style, and feeling. Mirrors can be created to suit a particular decorating scheme or color plan. Please email loribradley@comcast.net to discuss custom orders.

Orders can be shipped within the continental US. Turnaround time on custom orders is 2 to 4 weeks.

Ceramic vessels are handbuilt with a variety of high-fire clays, stains and glazes. As with Lori's dimensional mosaics, she creates many individual clay pieces - animals, leaves, twigs, vines, etc. - and "collages" them into vase forms and other vessels, using clay slip as a form of glue.

Most of Lori's ceramics are fired in an electric kiln. She also participates in wood-kiln firings whenever possible. Wood firing results in a richly textured, toasty warm surface.
